After his IT job is outsourced to Bangalore, Sandeep Majumdar (played by Deep Roy) sets up a remote access in his apartment, tricking his former company into believing that he is really working from India. Operating under the alias Sudesh Patel, he soon catches the eye of the company's vice president, who wants to promote him.

Sinopsis

En Nueva York hay un profesora de pintura que después de su divorcio deja de pintar para dedicarse a dar clases de pintura. 

En su vieja casa tiene un estudio y algunos estudiantes. En el aula Adela enseña técnicas sobre abstracto y discute con la gente joven sobre el arte en el mundo real y el trabajo con profunda filosofía. Ella es muy dura en el proceso de enseñanza y uno de los estudiantes piensa que "es como estar en una academia militar. Pero Adela les dice si ellos creen que los pintores famosos nacen sabiendo cómo pintar sus obras maestras. Ella, Marisa, respondió que los pintores famosos nacieron con los contactos necesarios para convertirse en famosos. Adela piensa que deben prepararse para los desafíos de nuevo milenio. Adela tiene un pretendiente: Bill, un psicólogo, quepretende convertirse en su novio, pero ella mantiene siempre vivos los recuerdos del pasado. 

Pero además, hay algo muy terrible con una pesadilla que tiene y se reitera. La misma la tortura mucho, porque ella siente que algo horrible puede suceder a la gente de América, considera que la pesadilla es una premonición. La rebelde, un día sube al ático y rompe una escultura, un objeto muy querido por ella, a partir de ese momento decide no seguir adelante con las lecciones de pintura. Bill intenta convencerla para seguir con las lecciones de la enseñanza, pero es imposible. 

Un día en que fueron tomando un café juntos vieron en la TV unas imágenes terribles del atentado a las torres gemelas que representa lo que vio en la pesadilla. Una vez más fue muy triste y profundamente conmovida le dijo a Bill que era lo que veía en la pesadilla. Ella siente la necesidad de pintar de nuevo lo que está pasando en la TV. Ella llora mucho, ella solo desea trabajar. Bill intenta infructuosamente persuadirla de volver a empezar con la clase de pintura, para tener más estudiantes.

Meses más tarde, comienza nuevamente con las clases de enseñanza, y también comparte con sus alumnos discusiones acerca de la paz y la guerra, Peter tratado de persuadir a Marisa sobre el horror causado por los actos violentos por los seres humanos para tratar de imponer sus propias verdades y en la oscuridad a la que tan menudo se sienten inmersos. Hablaron de héroes que lucharon pacíficamente como Gandhi o Jesús, pero Marisa dijo que uno fue asesinado y otro fue crucificado. Ella dijo que el arte no contribuye a la paz, así ni Picasso con el Guernica pudo prevenir la matanza. No le gusta vivir como esclavos. 

La guerra es importante para Marisa y la paz para Peter. Adela opina como Pedro en favor de la paz. Por esa razón proyectó hacer un monumento a la paz y les mostró un dibujo del mismo. Adela le pide a Marisa que comparta este proyecto, pero Marisa dice que es muy difícil para ella porque es una postura ingenua de que no podrá hacer nada contra el hambre, las divisiones, que no será capaz de detener las guerras. 

Para lograr una transformación del mundo, Adela, dijo; es necesario trabajar constantemente, arduamente, dolorosamente, pero puede ser glorioso al final, todos deben tener esperanza en relación con el futuro del mundo. Este proceso aumenta y consolida las personas la paz interna, por lo que son esenciales para su propia integridad y el bienestar, para una mejor relación con los demás, con el universo, contribuyendo, por tanto, a lograr la paz. 

Más allá del horror, la miseria o el dolor, la vida nos da la oportunidad de tener un nuevo comienzo, en la medida en que nos demos cuenta de la nobleza espiritual de nuestros propios cimientos. Algo muy trágico que sucede a continuación, pero los estudiantes que construyen el monumento a la paz .. El final de la película pide a la humanidad SOS para evitar las guerras y el terrorismo.
